There have been some requested features that are going to be included in Manila 9.6 but have not made it into the beta software yet. Those items are at the bottom of the Change Notes page and are listed as Incomplete Changes. I don't want anyone to miss them so I have listed them here, just in case.
So, the following features are scheduled for the Manila 9.6 release, but are not yet implemented in the Manila Beta version:
- The ability to use macros in CSS for colors which are edited on the Appearance Prefs page.
- New moderation features which allow content to be created in a
special pending state, and published later by an editor who has
permission to do so.
- A preference for whether to allow managing editors to specify the
password for newly created members. (Passwords are currently generated
automatically.)
- User interface for creating custom 404 pages in Manila sites, and custom server error pages.
If you have any questions, don't hesitate to post to the Manila 9.6 Beta Discussion Group.
