The Struggle for Democracy I have great respect for the people who brave attacks and death threats just to vote to choose their legislature. Its just too easy for forget what a struggle this can be for so many... Afghans chose a legislature for the first time in decades Sunday, embracing their newly recovered democratic rights and braving threats of Taliban attacks to cast votes in schools, tents and mosques. 8:55:54 PM
