Manila 9.6 Beta Release The Manila 9.6 beta will begin tomorrow. (Feature creep has been officially suspended ;-) Since we ran the Manila 9.5 beta on an open site with two sandbox sub-sites - one traditional style and one news item (blog) style, we thought we would do it again. It worked great because, by signing up, you automatically became a managing editor of the site and could try out all the features of Manila - new and old in a test environment. This gave our beta group and new users a way to test features without having to install anything - in addition to either downloading or creating a ManilaSite.
