Yahoo rolls out new search in split with Google. New search technology will include customization and personalization features. [Computerworld News] -- The race it on. One interesting note: Chris Sherman, (Search Engine Watch) wrote that it's surprising that Yahoo developed its own technology rather than using Inktomi's. The move will set in motion a new race for the search champion.
