Well, after the first and second panels I can say that its not just the same old new journalism blah, blah, weblog changing the world blah, blah etc conference. It could be because reference has already been made to that David Hornik article blah, blah...? but maybe not - there is a real sense that that this industry is growing and changing and maybe growing up somewhat. I do see a more enhanced sense of maturity developing among the participants in the industry in terms of the way it handles weighty issues such as privacy. Seeing this maturity will give everyone a better sense of security as the "social media" industry grows.
