Manila now provides server managers with the ability to configure plug-ins, making them available or unavailable by default to all or just some sites on the server. These settings can be overridden either per-plug-in or on an individual site-by-site basis.

This feature gives server managers more granular control over plug-in availability and is especially useful in situations where there are users of varying degrees of experience. Experienced users can have full access to plug-in functionality, while more novice users can be limited at first to basic Manila functions.

Footnote: to make this easier to use, server managers now have the ability to enable or disable plug-ins for a given site, via the Frontier Admin website, without having to first log in to the Manila site.

Enjoy.
