I would like to invite everyone to the next RSS Neighborhood event. Its going to be at Borders in Sunnyvale from 9:30 a.m. - 11 a.m. on April 26 -- that's next Monday.  I am looking forward to moderating a great discussion about the use of RSS in the enterprise.

The topic is generally how corporations can use RSS to develop a more personal and immediate dialogue with the different segments of their customer base. More specifically, there is general concern that email, brochures, white papers, conferences, phone calls, newsletters etc. no longer have the impact they once had in terms of conveying a message. Used properly, RSS allows corporate communication to take a different and potentially more immediate path to the decision makers and other interested parties. We can discuss whether or not this is a good idea, how it would work, and what some of the pitfalls could be. Sound OK?
