"You want to be here before it's too hot and hyped up," she said. MIT students on their annual tech trek are finding optimism in Silicon Valley.  Boy, I like the sound of that. Are these distinct signs that the economy is starting to turn here in the valley -- or is it because its been SOOOO dead over the last couple of years.  Kind of like watching a person that's been in a coma for two years all of a sudden blink their eyes or wiggle a finger.  (We don't discuss the past when they used to work a full day and run triathalons on the weekends.)  In many respects, any sign of growth is good news and everyone around here is accentuating the positive. <g> 2:30:42 PM    comment []
