RSS will become the most effective and efficient form of advertising ever developed.
The reason is simple, its not an "ad" - its a dialogue with the customer about what you are doing to preserve the relationship. I see an RSS "ad" from GM in my aggregator every few days. Sometimes its technical, sometimes its one of those image things, but its what I now associate with GM. (kind of like the fact that Scoble is what I now associate with Microsoft) Its content that doesn't feel like an "ad" because I subscribed and I can turn it off if I decide I don't like it. Do you think we will still call them "ads" in the future?
