I read this post from Will and thought to myself, if these guys don't get it, then we are up the creek without the proverbial paddle. As this next generation of web technologies really takes hold, the web becomes a global library. Its not a new thought, but you have to be able to read critically, now more than ever. Understanding and evaluating your sources is even more crucial. Picking apart the threads and deriving your own conclusion is an absolute must. These skills must be developed even earlier. Any attempt to limit the spectrum to a few "authoritative" sources is most likely to end in failure. I understand the difficulty here, but fighting the technology's undertow is futile and illadvised. But once these "trusted" sources are found, that same technology dramatically broadens your ability to stay in contact. That capability should not be overlooked.
