We found a small bug with the Frontier 9.0.1 installer for MacOS X. This particular bug turned out to be specific to G3 and earlier PowerPC systems. We fixed the installer (and the upgrader) so that they will work with G3 as well as the more common G4 and G5 systems. Now that the bug is fixed, I am wondering about the overhead and resources required to support older hardware and operating systems. It can sure slow us down. We have been discussing the selection of an appropriate point to stop supporting the Mac Classic operating systems. We are tentatively planning on dropping support with the release of 9.1 early in July. Thoughts or comments are welcome.
